Small Olive Breads for Breakfast

Small Olive Breads for Breakfast

No bread in the house?

Saturday morning and no bread in the house!!
Now what? Do not worry!
I remembered a simple, quick, easy and so tasty recipe my friend Eva told me about!

5 ingredients, that always exist in my kitchen!

  1. Seed Oil
  2. Orange juice
  3. Olives
  4. Flour
  5. Origanum

Let’s do it!

The only procedure that might take some more time is cutting the olives. Unless you have ready cut olives. But I don’t.
I love olives, so I have real handmade olives in vases!

Should you want to learn how to make your own olives check these 2 posts!

YOUR OWN TABLE OLIVES – PART 2

So start with cutting your 1 cup olives.

Switch your oven to 180oC to preheat and start!!

Put the flour in your bowl add the seed oil and the orange juice.
Add a pinch of origanum but do not overdo it. It will make the breads bitter.
Mix them in order to be an elastic dough. There is no need to knead it!
Add the cut olives and mix it again in order just the olives to be part of the dough.
Shape the dough into small balls like big walnuts.
Put an oil paper on your pan and bake them in 180oC for about 30 minutes.

Your easy, handmade small olive breads are ready!

Breakfast is served!
